Shota is good player
He is a great player! I’ve been watching him over the Internet for years! I don’t understand a lick of Japanese but I really enjoyed watching him…I had hoped he would come bowl in the PBA! He will get his PBA Title before long….. I Love USA PBA BOWLING! The best in the world come to bowl here! I am so glad though we can bowl with other countries….great sportsmanship!
I was watching his 2nd match in the gym. When he missed that 10 pin, I heard a bunch of groans. He’ll be back.
He’s one of Japan’s best bowlers. Hope he wins a tournament here in the US this year.
You could see the ball moving in his hand before he started his approach, maybe his hand was shaking. Pressure got to him, I think. Brutal. My heart goes out to him. When you miss a routine spare with the game on the line, there’s nowhere to hide.
Ran out of nerve.
Keven Williams is gonna be a star in a year or two.
…his chicken approach ….priceless….
Zzz
Been two years and no signs of him anywhere
Bowling Planet well there’s no bowling going on now. Dummy
Annndd I stand corrected, nice run at the Players Championship
Guys Kent is not a sore loser. Bowlers don’t get mad when they lose. They get mad (at themselves) when they don’t execute. Imagine spending half a week tearing up the lanes for a shot at 40 or 50k only to have no line to the pocket the day of the telecast. It’s their living. This is how they eat.
And when they can’t strike, of course they’re mad. But never at their opponent. You’re all seeing frustration and confusing it with hatred for the opponent.
I remember EJ was like this, maybe even worse. But he bounced back and Kent can do it too, just can’t be so hard on himself.
“Of course they’re mad. Never at their opponent.”
Belmo-Rash 2011?
I enjoy bowling too, and I get frustrated when I leave a single pin or split out.
It’s bowling.
@Aine Lawler “so his aloud to get mad”
Fucking WHAT?
Shota is there for the experience on US soil. Well done Shota! don’t be distracted by this one pin missed. Hope you will have another crack at it soon.
His mental strength is weak.
did Shota win a good amount of money atleast?
My heart stopped when Shota missed that spare….
