Thanks for uploading.
Great win, but it’s pretty sad and pathetic knowing that this is a major title, and the top winner only got $30k out of it. Since 2007, it has gone from being $100k for the top prize, down to $60k (2009), then down to $50k (2010-2016), and now down to $30k. It really makes it feel like it’s not as big of an accomplishment now unfortunately.
The reason why bowling rewards are being reduced is because bowling is much easier now. With reactive balls, the 300 isn’t as uncommon as it once was. 800 series is more common. Splits are easier. The sport consistently gets easier, there’s more and more amateur circuit and pros entering the leagues. It’s a saturated sport. Therefore, it’s lost value.
Still a huge accomplishment, for someone doing what they love. It is unfortunate our sport doesn’t bring in the interest it used to. but that doesn’t take away from being among the worlds best
Bowling is a dead sport . Younger generation has little interest in it. No prize money.
Dude that a years worth of work for a low paying job lol
the pba has gotten better since bowling showed up on fox
I enjoy seeing some new people for once
Lol, my first thought was “who tf are these losers”
The semifinal match is epic. One of my favorite finishes. Never give up. Also nice to see the good sportsmanship between Hoskins and Kloempken.
Andrew Anderson well deserved it for his first title/major.
Finally a quick upload awesome quality
I like the come from behind by Hoskins. It just shows that you should never give up, anything can happen.
For me, I’m so happy to see new young bowlers challenging. Wish all the best.
Haven’t gotten through the whole tournament yet, but I really enjoyed that Kloempken/Paluszek match.
New favorite bowler, Steve Kloempken. Super smooth and collected. Very nice.
28:08 crowd: “a little high joe”
“Gravy train with biscuit wheels!” One of my favorites from RP.
Did you guys saw the guy on the background 5:03
Great Job Andrew, I hope to score in the 200’s sometime.
I love watching Klompken bowl he has such a smooth release.
He’s a nice kid, and I am glad that he won.
