The PBA returns to Bayside Bowl for the 2021 PBA King of the Lanes Series presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon, which gets underway Tuesday, June 15 at 8 p.m. ET on FS1.
The inaugural King of the Lanes: Empress Edition will feature 11 PWBA stars battling for supremacy June 15 and 16, followed by 11 PBA Tour players vying for the crown in the King of the Lanes airing June 19 and 20.
Over the course of five hour-long telecasts in both the women’s and men’s series, contenders will bowl a one-game match for the right to face the reigning Empress or King. The winner of the Empress or King match retains the crown to be defended in each subsequent telecast.
Kelly Kulick is the appropriate choice to open the King of the Lanes: Empress Edition as the incoming Empress. Kulick won the 2010 PBA Tournament of Champions to become the first woman to win a PBA Tour title and recently won the PWBA Albany Open for her seventh career PWBA title (five of which are majors).
Kris Prather, who earned the title of King of the Lanes last season by taking the crown from Sean Rash and then successfully defending against Pete Weber, will enter as the reigning King.

So satisfying to see the place have a live audience again. 😌
It’s nice to see a crowd again😁
The absolute definition of BRUTAL is at 1:25:30
Never forget when Liz needed a mark to win in the 10th at the WBT finals and the same thing happened.
no lie, absolutely killer
Not really.. got through too much oil in front part of lane, ball burns energy rolls forward with almost no entry angle. Unfortunate timing perhaps, but that was a bad shot.
@Brian B I agree. I deal with that a lot at league. The front part of the lanes are straight up flooded. It isn’t common to see 7-10s and even 5-7-10s because of what you’re describing.
this was the second time in less than a week…
that i cried after daria lost 😪
Made some good money though. Won the crown which was $10,000 defended the crown which was another $10,000 and then lost to Missy which was $5,000. And any of the girls that bowled the contenders match and lost still got $3,000.
It’s funny knowing the people in the stands hahaha
I feel like because the last couple bowlers have an unfair advantage, there should be a setting round live on flo.
Man Daria is absolutely gorgeous. Wow
Whoa…watch what you say about my future Ex-Wife. lol
yea ik she is really cute and she has a killer rev rate, but honestly she should of went to the zen at the beginning and stuck with it but yea you write it down somewhere and you learn from it.
but so is clara the columbian girl she is really cute and good
Love to see all this snapper again…
Great to see the women back on TV. Great to have crowds back. Looks like a great atmosphere. Great action. Great talent. But the King of the Lanes concept with a grown man/woman sitting on a thrown with a crown on is a silly novelty and a bad look for a professional sport trying to earn respect and reach mainstream status.
I love the real crowd noises. Covid made me forget how bowling used to be
I think queen of lanes would be renamed
Say what you want about this crowd, but I _never_ thought I’d be so happy to see crowds coming back, *especially* this one! 😊
This is great, I love watching the women bowl!
WHAT A FINISH…. DARIA <3 4L
1:23:50 boom goes the dynamite… that was a great shot. Very definition of “10 back”.
I’ve been watching bowling since the early 80’s. I am enjoying the new presentation of the sport. I love seeing the oil pattern in blue or red. The raucous crowd makes every shot more exciting.
The crowd seems like they haven’t party for a decade…And I love it!
I love events like this. Bowling should be rowdy and electric
Kelly Kulick has an artwork style. I’ve actually been imitating her style somewhat and it seems to work fantastically.
How exactly does McEwan swinging her arm before rolling the ball every time help her?
