This weekend, five of the season’s premier talents convene on Bowlero Jupiter in Florida.

EJ Tackett, Jason Belmonte, Anthony Simonsen, Jakob Butturff and Kevin McCune will compete in the PBA Super Slam Cup presented by Bowlero to crown a champion among champions and award a $100,000 top prize.

The five superstars earned their spot in this non-title event through their excellence in major championships this season.

Tackett, Belmonte, Simonsen and McCune each won a major title this season; Tackett, in fact, won two.

At the PBA World Championship presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon, the top three finishers were Tackett, Belmonte and Simonsen — who had each already secured their spots in the Super Slam Cup. Therefore, Butturff earned the nomination as the fourth-place finisher.

On Saturday, a pair of seeding rounds will determine the lineup for Sunday’s stepladder finals. The players will first bowl a single game together on the TV pair, though the game will not be televised.

In the afternoon, players will bowl a single game by themselves, airing live on FS1 at 2 p.m. The unique setup provides an opportunity for greater insight and storytelling. Parts of the first preliminary game may be aired during the show.

Sunday’s finals (2 p.m. on FOX) will feature a traditional five-player stepladder format.

  1. Hi everyone! I’d just like to quickly apologize for the excessive cutting in the first and second match. My capturing software was having issues with FOX and couldn’t record for a long period of time. Of course, it would be greatly appreciated if you would consider supporting my channel here! https://www.buymeacoffee.com/bowlingplanet

    1. @Bowling_Planet is it possible that full video on first match and second match can be fixed once software is fixed? Only problem is im not seeing any highlights of pba super slam being posted on fox sports youtube page

  2. Everyone in the finals were very good.. between EJ and Belmo, its a matter of pin carry.. both players hit their marks almost every shot except the one EJ went Brooklyn.. well done all..

  3. Fantastic telecast. Those last two matches were exhilarating. Big congrats to EJ on the 300 and Belmo on the win. ❤🎉🎉🎉

    1. @greg knox …Belmo? He won the ToC this year after being in like 50th place, and he damn near won another tournament that came down to the tenth frame, and he won this (even though it doesn’t count for an actual title, it does count for bragging rights).

I guess I forgot to mention that he won FIVE TITLES LAST YEAR and his SEVENTH PBA Player of the Year. In half the time it took Walter Ray.

But, sure. He’s “washed up”. 😂😂

  4. What a fantastic and captavating finals to watch, so good seeing everyone bringing their A game and just having fun!! Congrats to tackett on the 300 and belmo on the win from us here in australia!!

    1. What’s funny is WRWjr was actually at the event doing autographs and selling replica jerseys. He didn’t seem to really want to be there honestly (seemed like a money grab so he could go on vacation).

  7. 👍🥰 CONGRATULATIONS BELMO. !!! Cash prize and Champion BELT BETTER than a title. 5 CHAMPIONS ….. WIN or LOSS ACTED HIGHLY professional and RESPECTFUL. 👍🥰❤️

  8. I was there both days. Todays bowling was absolutely insane compared to yesterday when they allowed us in for game 2.

Ended up with a spare ball full of current and future hall of fame signatures.

  9. Two best of the best bowlers goes head to head with EJ Tacket winning the six-pack alert $1,000 award + a perfect 300 game then Belmonte winning the $100,000. In the end when Belmonte had a 7-10 split (that didn’t count). Great great game.

  10. Energy and success that bounces off belmo and tackett to put on a good show for the pba. How the greats get it done

  11. If you wanna see Jakobs split conversion. They show it at @7:10 In the video as they go to commercial break

  12. 1:04:00 ”Take ’em down, Sniper!” 😄😂
Love that guy and the smile of EJ is priceless!

    1:10:16 *E P I C B R E A K M O M E N T !!*
1:11:30 Belmo tries a 7-10 TRICKSHOT — counts as ZERO, of course but entertaining! 😃

  13. Just one hell of a show to end the national tour season. Thanks for the upload. Just amazes me how good these guys are

  14. I love the fact that in another video they asked several players who would win and no one mentioned Belmonte and I thought Belmonte will win because he is the GOAT
