I hate that they’re showing so few tournaments on TV this season. I hope this isn’t the way it’s going to be going forward. We need bowling back on TV.
I agree 100%
@bowl now if that’s the long-term case, PBA should sell itself to Disney so it can be packaged with Disney+. ESPN and now Fox aren’t doing the PBA any favors. 3500+ views so far for watching the best bowlers in the world today? Unacceptable!
Everything is on bowl tv all the time it’s a shame we have to pay for it
If you understand business. Fox or anyone else probably doesn’t want to pay as much as they could make from subscriptions on bowl tv
@Aine Lawlor when bowling was on tv you paid your cable bill to watch it then. Paying a subscription to watch it elsewhere is no different?
Just when I thought the PBA was back, it’s on some channel I don’t even get called Bowl TV. 😢
Another reason that bowling is not so fair. When centers have different configurations on the back pit and you can make 4 or 5 7-10 splits in one tournament…
@steve Yes but you can learn about lanes and adapt. Converting the 7-10 is a complicated bouncing sequence that you basically have little control over.
Absolutely different tracks favor different car manufacturers, aerodynamics and engine torque are 2 big factors, yes different courts, grass, clay, turf absolutely make a difference on a bad shot as you called it! In the PBA there’s different oil patterns on the lanes to keep from some one person from getting an advantage because of their playing style!
@Bowling XP ! A sport like Football has a few variables. Natural or fake turf, enclosed dome or out in the elements. Hot/cold and the way the stadium is orientated and built can change wind patterns. The home team has the advantage. Elevation also can come into play. A team in Denver will have a better advantage living in the higher altitude and living with thinner air compared to a road team that doesn’t. In a sport like Tennis, we’ve seen players excel in a specific surface. As there is hard, grass, and clay. It could be on what you grew up to play on. You would know the characteristics better than a person who’s never played on that surface.
@MrsSunshine75 Manufacturers know the tracks and can adapt though. The kickback of an alley is a decision of the alley. And about tennis : can a court make your bad shot , to good?
@steve I don’t know much about football , and i agree with the parameters you mentioned. However those are forced parameters. One can’t lower the whole city of Denver 1 mile downwards 😛 But the USBC can set how kickbacks will behave EXACTLY for all alleys.
It was an awesome Stepladder Finals in the Wichita Classic that includes amazing finishes in the 1st, and Semi Final Matches. Also, The Dragon Pattern was one of the best Patterns on the Pba Tour.
Arrg
Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas is one of the Best Bowling Centers to host the Wichita Classic on the Pba Tour.
Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas is one of the Best Bowling Centers. Fixed that for ya
Seriously, Northrock is STUPID easy. One of the best carrying bowling alleys in the region.
@Andrew Phillips Your bowling acumen is so astounding that I stand in total awe of you ! Please, oh great one, SHARE this bowling knowledge with the WORLD !!! You are the greatest bowling mind in the world, even better than Armond JU JU if that is possible !!!
Northrock Lanes is my home center. I was so happy to go to the Pro-Am and bowl there with AJ Johnson, Jesper Svensson, and Ronnie Russell! (You can find that Pro-Am vid on my channel.)
Televise these FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!
I wish everybody would quit hating on the PBA if they do not put effort in the time to help the PBA meaning host tournaments or become a member. Or subscribe to Bowl TV. I’ve described the bowl tv and I love it. It’s not that expensive and right now bowling needs all of our support that we can give them.
Mitch Hupe video on 7-10 conversions in this center with Packy is a fun watch.
That Rickey Bobby comparison was funny.
Cool tech bowling PBA professional bowling
Tom on the mic 😉😎
3:47 Jess Stayrook made the 7-10 in Tucson, not Wichita. That seems like an oddly specific thing to bring up without making sure you’re correct.
Did Jakob bowl after his shift at Footlocker or something?
Yeah, he and the boys gave Santuu a swirly before the match too.
Poor Dom, always the bridesmaid this year.
Congrats Simo!!!!!
This was excellent match play! Don is now one of the most versatile players on the tour. Simonsen is just unbelievable!
Great defensive offense by Simo, if they were on wood, Dom’s pin up move would have been solid, but on synthetic, Dom needed lil surface to read what Simo was carrying down!
Butters hopefully 2023 . Buddy. 👍
Doesn’t really matter where I get the coverage…. As long as I get to watch I’m fine. 🤷🏾♂️
