Steve Jaros beat Norm Duke by six pins in 2005. EJ Tackett bested Tommy Jones by four pins in 2017. Patrick Allen defeated Rhino Page by four pins in 2009. Two Tournament of Champions titles were decided by one pin: Jason Belmonte over Wes Malott in 2014 and Michael Haugen Jr. over Chris Barnes in 2008.

The Moments in the Closest Title Matches in the Pba Tournament of Champions was amazing especially the close finishes that was decided by 6 pins in 2005, 5 pins in 2017, 4 pins in 2009, and by 1 pin in both 2008 and 2014.
Don’t forget the 2021 U.S. Open final match between Chris Via and Jakob Butturff where Chris Via won by a single pin [214 as opposed to Jakob Butturff’s 213]!
