Thomas Larsen won the USBC Masters after Jesper Svensson was unable to strike on his first shot in the 10th frame. Tom Daugherty shut out Kyle Troup with a 12-pin victory in the PBA Scorpion Championship. Daugherty secured a six-pin win over Jakob Butturff in the Guaranteed Rate PBA World Championship. Anthony Simonsen won a rolloff over Kyle Troup, 50-49, in the PBA Tour Finals. The U.S. Open came down to the final shot of the 10th frame, with Chris Via earning the win over Jakob Butturff by a single pin.

  1. It’s awesome to watch matches when they are so close, especially title matches. Yesterday, I had an idea for a future Friday Five: Top 5 pro bowlers predicted (or due) to win their first PBA tour title in 2022.

    1. @PBABowling that’s a good question. My five would be 1. Brad Miller, 2. AJ Johnson, 3. Packy Hanrahan, 4. Nick Pate, and 5. Mikey Tang. If I’m missing anyone significant, I apologize lol.

  2. I can’t be the only who gets emotional when I watch daughtery win his first major. Seen it maybe 10+ times but it gets me every time.
