Wesley Low Jr. finished third in the PBA Players Championship West Region Finals. Benjy Martinez bowled a 276 game on the way to a fourth-place finish in the PBA Players Championship Southwest Region Finals. Zach Weidman rolled an 803 series in his three wins during the PBA Players Championship Central Region Finals, eliminating Wes Malott, Ronnie Russell and Andrew Anderson. Matthew Russo was the only rookie to win, taking the PBA Jonesboro Open title and ultimately winning the PBA Rookie of the Year Award. Anthony Neuer had perhaps the most notable standalone moment of the entire PBA Tour season by converting the 7-10 split. Neuer was the fourth player ever, and first since 1991, to convert the split on television. Neuer finished third in the U.S. Open.

  1. Good to see up and coming bowlers using the traditional one-handed throwing style. Don’t get me wrong, I love Kyle Troup, but I’m not a fan of the two-handed throw.

  2. Koeltzow should’ve been on here for what he did in the players championship regional finals until he lost to Simo… that was incredible
