  1. Magnificent performance from Mark. He might be physically gone but his legacy will be alive forever <3

  2. When I first got into bowling, my dad introduced me to the sport. I used to watch the pro bowlers tour on TV every week. 2 of my idols that taught me my game were Marshall Holman, and the great Mark Roth. I learned the power game from Mark and the ball roll from Marshall. My other 2 idols in the game and I wish they were on this telecast, Brian Voss and Norm Duke. Both of them taught me how to be versatile in the game and taught me how to create the largest margin of error to play the game. When Mark passed away, the WHOLE ENTIRE BOWLING WORLD lost truly a legend of the game, and I hope the PBA does more tributes like bringing back the plastic ball tournament on his oil pattern.

  3. Always loved watching Mark Roth compete. I loved his quiet demeanor while bowling on TV which made me respect him all the more. I remember one of the plastic ball PBA tournaments being mentioned buying one of these balls would help support Mark and Denise to help with physical therapy and other medical costs. This moved me to write small note to Mark with a small check telling him to have a nice lunch on me. Not a big deal. Some time later got a simple thank you from Mark for my gesture. I did not expect nor solicit this but showed the kind of man he was. He will be missed but not forgotten.
