what kind of list is this if an amazing performance like this is only 49?
Too bad not all 4 games are shown. Bo was threading the needle every shot! Pure Workman like performance. The third match again Couture was a classic! There were tons of classic shows and matches in 1984! Excellent year for the PBA!!
This should easily be in the top 5. Bo’s performance that day was the single greatest exhibition of pure bowling skill ever televised by the PBA. Wood lanes, a Faball Black Hammer, and 814 for his first 3 games throwing it straight up the 12 board? Amazing.
I still marvel at at how hard he was getting a Black Hammer to hit playing so little angle on lacquer lanes. Amazing stuff.

Wait, was this really earlier today?!
Bo Burton and Bob Learn, Jr’s performances were two of the greatest performances ever. I would Learn’s performance slightly ahead of Bo only because he had a perfect game involved.
Smooth, professional and articulate? Sure. But Nelson Burton was a VERY fierce competitor on the lanes. Give him an inch and he’d bury you, no matter who the opponent.
Mr smooth. Bo Burton was a bowler that in any given day could bury you
