Thanks Walter Ray for all the memories.
Walter Ray has been my bowling hero for many years. I am 17 years his senior, but that doesn’t mean anything. I bowled and pitched horseshoes, but never at his level. I never had the time or money to bowl until after I retired from factory working. Yet I still did get to roll two 300s, and two 299s sanctioned scores, after I was 62 years old. I am now crippled with arthritis, and unable to do anything at all, but still root for the GOAT. Stay safe Walter.
The ’90s and 2000s if he was on the TV show, chances were he was going to win that title. It got to the point where I was tired of seeing him on TV and wanted the other guys to get a chance. That’s how good he was. “Deadeye” WRWJ
Now we got Belmo for this, but not recently, sadly
Class act Walter👍. Old deadeye is world champ in bowling & horseshoe’s.
I’ve pitched Walter at horseshoes. He can lose his temper very quickly if things aren’t going his way
@Rick Wesley I can see that. If I could ring 232 out of 350 I’d get mad too. Happens to me if I don’t make 22 or more of 25 free throws.
A sporting legend
It was only a year ago that WRW bowled a 300 two-handed. GOAT!
No thank you Walter Ray, a credit to the game.
It’s all ’bout 💰, ain’t a Damm thing 😂.
You gotta have a job in this land of 🥛and 🍯. It’s like a jungle, sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under. Goodluck and future for Pete and Walter.
Two of the Bowl’n greats.
Peace to you and yours.
Incredible, generationally-dominant player. Amazing career. Thanks WRW.
My favorite bowler! Thank you for the years of wonderful bowling!
Another legend. I just watched the PDW video and now this one. I have enjoyed all the games I watched Walter Ray bowl through the years.
Hummmmm…he didn’t swear…cause he’s a class act…thank you Walter Ray….such a clutch player.
Two years ago, he finished 24th in Indy. I heard him tell someone it was only the second time in his entire career that he made the cut to 24 and finished 24th. In almost 40 years. That is a stat worth noting. Truly the greatest.
Steps down without having the need to drop an f-bomb. Class act.
Absolutely 💯 his a class guy
Walter is a true class act. I got to meet him a few years ago and it was an absolute pleasure. Good luck with retirement and enjoy it. You have earn it.!!!
What a TOP bloke! A freakin’ legend and as humble as they come. As has been said and hopefully will be again, just a real class act
Thank you Walter for the many years of memories.
What’s next? Norm Duke retiring?
Legend we will miss you the young guys will look up you Walter you will be missed good luck Walter 👍
Walter would rather pitch horseshoes anyway. That’s his number one love. Just ask him.
By far , my favorite pro bowler.
“Old dead eye”! Enjoy your self, on the Senior tour.
